From 2008 till 2011 Orgelpark Research took the art of improvisation as its main theme. The results are documented in Orgelpark Research Report #3, available for free elsewhere on this site. The project's final activity was the 2013 International Orgelpark Symposium.
A major event during the symposium was the oratio, with which Hans Fidom accepted his appointment to professor of Organ Studies at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. The text (as well as the music) of his oratio is available elsewhere in this website as well, in the form of Orgelpark Research Report #2.
